====== Description ======

This interactive course will explore some recent controversial cases of ethical misconduct in science as well as topics such as stem cells, human and animal research, environmental ethics and neuroethics. It will challenge students to analyze their current conceptions of objective science. The roles of professional scientists in society and how to succeed in the field will also be addressed. Both the theoretical and practical aspects of conducting science ethically will be considered.

This course counts towards the ISCI credit requirement.
